Create and customize your own challenge (at no cost to you) as a fun way for your small business, family, or community to lose weight and get healthy! Each participant pays an entry fee, which is added to the prize pot (less HealthyWage’s 25% admin fee). Every participant or team (depending on your selection) who achieves a weight loss of 6% or more wins an equal share of the pot. Winners typically DOUBLE their entry fee!

How does the challenge work?
Participants pay an entry fee to sign up. They get a verified weigh-in at the beginning and at the end of the challenge. All participants or teams (depending on your selection) who achieve a 6% weight loss win their share of the prize pot (less the 25% administration fee).
How do participants have their starting and ending weights verified? Will participants’ weights be visible to others?
There are two easy options for weight verification:
1.
Download our mobile app (after you register) and follow the simple, on-screen instructions to let one of our referees remotely witness your weigh-in. This takes about two minutes of your time.
OR
2.
Print the “Verify Me!” form and have a qualified witness sign the form after watching you step on the scale — any doctor, nurse, health club staff member or WW employee is qualified to be a witness. Then take a photo of the signed form and upload it to your HealthyWage account.
An individual participant’s actual weight is NOT shared with any other participants at any point during the challenge. Only weight loss percentage is visible to other users.
What do I have to do as the challenge creator?
Encourage participants to sign up — that’s it! After you build your challenge, get the word out by sending the sign up link via email or Facebook. HealthyWage also provides a suite of marketing materials including: weekly email blasts, marketing posters and sample Facebook posts. Once the challenge starts HealthyWage handles all the communication to participants.
What resources do participants get during the challenge?
Participants get 12 weeks of support from HealthyWage! They will receive weekly emails, get access to our mobile apps on iOS or Android and access to a community of like-minded individuals.
Can challenge creators participate too?
If you would like to join in the challenge, you can absolutely register as a participant! The creator of the challenge can join the challenge for free. There is no money added to the prize pot, but you can win and experience the challenge just like a paying participant. Lucky you!

What type of information is requested from participants? How is it kept secure?
HealthyWage asks for the following information when participants sign up for a challenge: name, gender, birthday, height, city of residence, and payment information.
HealthyWage is committed to protecting the security of personal information, including payment information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. For example, all participant data is collected and transmitted over secured connections using 256-bit encryption. All pages on the HealthyWage website are served over SSL. All payment data is handled following rigorous Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards set by VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. We process payments via a highly reputable third-party payment processor and never store sensitive payment information on our own system.
