About the Role:
We are looking for our first in house Android & iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android & iOS app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android & iOS programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
The successful candidate in this role will be able to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive and results driven attitude. They will be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities across both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will be a master in their ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
What you will do:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android and iOS platforms
Utilize proficient knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C and React.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and bring new functionalities to life on both platforms.
Work with both external and internal data sources and APIs.
Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs to optimize application performance on both Android and iOS.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
What makes you a great fit:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
5+ years of experience in Android application development
2+ years of experience in iOS application development.
Strong working knowledge in Java and Kotlin (Android development) and Switch and Objective-C (iOS development).
Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and iOS development tools.
Experience with RESTful APIs, SQLite, Room and Core Data
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Strong working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
Experience with unit and UI testing in both Android and iOS environments.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
What makes you stand out:
Knowledge in reactive programming (RxJava for Java, Coroutines for Kotlin, RxSwift for Swift).
Experience with Google services integrations (Firebase, Google Maps, etc.) and Apple services.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Relevant certifications in Android or mobile development using Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C
