How do I get paid?
Winners using the main platform (USD) can choose PayPal or a paper check.
Note: There is a processing fee for a paper check of $7.00. If you choose Paypal, Paypal will charge a minimum fee of 2.99%, except in special circumstances when HealthyWage pays the fee (e.g., Team Challenge Reimbursement Prize). See PayPal's website for their current fee structures. HealthyWage does not collect a fee for PayPal payouts.

How long does it take to get paid?
If you choose check payment, you will receive your check one to three weeks after you request a payout
If you choose PayPal, your payment will process in two to five business days.
How long should I wait before I contact you in the event of a missing check?
If your check has not arrived within three weeks of the date of your payment request, please contact accounting@healthywage.com.
Where is my PayPal payout?
You should see your PayPal payment no later than 5 business days from the date of your payout request.
If you do not see it, please contact accounting@healthywage.com.
Note: If your PayPal email address is different than the email address associated with your HealthyWage account, or if you change your HealthyWage account email address after your initial registration, your payout could be delayed by a few days. This is a security measure done for your protection.
Where do I find my payment in my PayPal account?
The HealthyWage Paypal payment should be reflected in your Paypal balance almost immediately after HealthyWage processes it. To view all transactions and activity, log in to your PayPal account and check your recent activity. For more commonly asked questions for your PayPal account, please go here.
Can I change my mailing address after adding it to the payout request?
No. For security reasons we can not allow you to edit information once uploaded. Please email accounting@healthywage.com if you need to correct an address.
Can I use my winnings to join a new challenge?
Absolutely! Sign up for a new challenge before requesting a payout to automatically use your points! Check out the list of current challenges!
Can I use my points to pay for installments on my current challenge?
You cannot do this yourself, but we can help. Send an email to accounting@healthywage.com.
My challenge victory was announced; when will I receive my prize?
Your HW Points will be added to your account the evening of the challenge announcement (you can request a cash payout immediately after that if you would like). You should also receive an email the evening of the announcement confirming that the points have been added to your account. If you don’t see this email, please check your spam folder.
What are HW Points?
After winning a challenge you earn HW Points. HW Points are worth $1 (U.S.) each and can be redeemed as cash or used to join another challenge.
For example: if you win a challenge and earn 500 HW Points, you can immediately cash out the points or you can apply the points to the cost of a new challenge. Or a little bit of each!
Where do I find my HW Points?
It’s super easy. If you’ve won a challenge, you will receive multiple emails with links to the HW Points section of your HealthyWage account. You can also view your HW Points anytime by clicking the three dots on the upper right corner of your dashboard (on the HealthyWage website) and then selecting “HW Points.”
Do my HW Points expire?
Your HW Points will expire after 12 months of inactivity.
I signed up via ca.healthywage.com or au.healthywage.com. How do I get paid?
CAD and AUD participants signing up via the ca.healthywage.com or au.healthywage.com site are currently ineligible for check payouts. Contact accounting@healthywage.com for questions related to PayPal payouts.
